Frequently asked
Is Zmardio only for tango schools?
No. It began with a tango school and is shaped by how dance studios actually run: recurring classes, open practice sessions, workshops and memberships. Any studio or school that teaches in classes can use it.
Do my members need the app?
Members book, pay, check in and receive messages through the app, so yes for day-to-day use. Your team can still book and record payments for anyone from the admin portal.
Can I move my existing members over?
Yes. Members and their plans can be imported from a spreadsheet, and attendance history can be carried across so no one starts from zero.
How are payments handled?
Subscriptions and one-off purchases are taken in the app. Cash and card payments taken at the studio are recorded in the portal, so the billing ledger reflects everything in one currency of your choice.
Which languages and currencies are supported?
The portal and app default to English and GBP and can be set per studio in Settings. Additional languages and currencies are added as studios request them.
